1: You Need To Be Saved.
"For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.(Romans 3:23) "There is none righteous, no, not one."(Romans 3:10) "Except a man to be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."(John 3:3)
2: You Cannot Save Yourself.
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us."(Titus 3:5) "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved."(Acts 4:12) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not yourselves; it is the Gift of God-not of works lest any man should boast."(Eph. 2:8-9) 3: God Has Provided "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God."(I Peter 3:18) In whom we have redemption through His Blood even the forgiveness of sins."(Col. 1:4)
4: Your Part
Believe:
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved."(Acts 16:31)
Repent:
"Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish."(Luke 13:3)
Confess:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."(Romans 10:9)
You must first believe in your heart before you can call upon him. Now, in trusting Jesus Christ you have eternal life. Next, you should publicly confess Him before men and then present yourself for believers Baptism by immersion as an act of obedience and identification with Christ.
